with A Unique Opportunity To Sell

What do they know about wines? You'd be surprised.

There are 2 types of sponsorships on The Wine Show. One is traditional 30 or 60 second commercial breaks, the other is a profile segment on the show.

The Profile Segment

Television can literally make a product or company. Companies, authors, and others who have been featured just once on a TV show have become overnight sensations. Even if a product is highly specialized, there are millions of people watching. The results can be truly amazing. TV persuades, legitimizes and enhances like no other medium.

If your company is a match - jump on board with the Wine Show and you are in a great position to market your product or service to millions of eager viewers in the Tri-State Metropolitan area and Nation Wide on the Food Channel and Pax TV. Each segment will showcase something special in the wine world, and that segment could be yours.

How do you qualify to be the subject of a segment?

We will screen your product or service and determine it’s relevance in the wine business. New products and old are considered, so long as the segment helps make the show interesting and gives our segment producers something to work with. There are a limited amount of segments per show, and therefore we must be selective. However, if your product fits you can expect to take advantage of the marketing power of television, reaching up to 70,000,000 people in broadcast. Plus, you will be given a marketing bonus as a guest. The Wine Show will provide you with a marketing video of your appearance in an extended segment. This video can be duplicated and used to open new markets, to market distributors or others, and to penetrate with power, style and substance. The marketing video is typically used by sales staff to establish credibility and recognition for a company by demonstrating to your prospects that your product warrants an appearance on television. Lastly, you will be featured permanently on our web page, which will be available for referencing shows and sponsors. There is a charge for the segment production, the marketing video and web page.

To qualify for a segment contact our segment producer via email, fax, mail or by phone

The Traditional Commercial Spot

For those seasoned advertisers who have purchased commercial airtime before, you will be familiar with the 30 second or 60 second spot. Our show provides opportunities for this kind of advertising on a limited basis. The show runs approximately 30 minutes and offers commercial breaks that are most appropriate for any ancillary product that can appeal to the demographics of the show, which include a high income, upper-middle-to-upscale audience ages thirty and over. Wine associated products are an obvious match, but this market is not limited to wine products. Categorically, you can expect a high profile, baby-boomer viewership interested in everything from automobiles to baby oil.

If you have an established commercial, it should be provided to us on Betacam sub master, 1" or any other broadcast format such as digital. Commercials must be screened for content. If you need a spot created, we can help. Our production team can provide you with ideas, script, creative story boards and complete production facilities and crew.

The Wine Show Sponsor Overview & Summary

 General Description:

The Wine Show deals with all topics related to wine, and is directed at the neophyte as well as the seasoned wine connoisseur. The 30 minute show is formatted to be humorous, informative and a showcase for persons in or close to the business of wine. Ancillary guests and sponsors may be cheese companies, makers of wine paraphernalia, and upscale products and services of all kinds. A celebrity format provides excitement and variety along with interesting information. Remote segments from interesting places related to wine and brandies are also part of the format. Sponsors participating in segments have a unique position. For instance, a cigar maker who cannot advertise on regular commercials can be profiled on a segment.

Criteria for Sponsorship:

  • Guest segments on the show are showcasing their own products and services relevant to the Wine industry. They must have a good story that will interest viewers, have expertise in their field and be able to meet a production schedule. This show airs on Saturday afternoon on Pax TV, a prime-time for food shows, and on Monday mornings opposite daytime shows like Regis. Advertisers are classified as those who will run commercial spots on the Wine Show. Typically, these spots are from .30 seconds to .60 seconds and are provided to our production company by the advertiser or his agency. They should be formatted in Betacam, 1" or digital. All commercials will be screened for content. There will be up to 8 commercial "spots" on the show’s 30 minute format.

Production

  • A sponsor doing a segment with the show must prepare for that segment with the assistance of a segment producer. The producers will not crowd segments into the show. Our policy is to apply maximum focus on your product or service, and to do this you will be guided by a director or segment producer.
  • Dates and times are important because scheduling the production of a show is a detailed event. We will work with you as much as possible to make the production schedule blend with your needs.
